September 15, 2011 - Proposed Amendment to the Parker Area Chamber of Commerce Bylaws
POLICY AMENDMENT: The
Parker Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors intends to modify Article
VIII, Section 1 of the by-laws to allow existing board members be reappointed in
lieu of no members applying to run for open board seats. Executive Director
Randy Hartless presented the following amendment: In the event that no nominations or
letters of interest are presented, the board may reappoint existing candidates
to serve an additional three (3) year term.
Any amendments to the Chamber bylaws requires a minimum of two weeks notice to the membership.
