Rules
- No persons under the age of thirteen (13) years
may enter the float unless accompanied by one or
more parent.
- All teams must have one adult 18 years or over
in team.
- Teams and Groups must have tubes tied together.
- Entry will not be accepted for any person under
18 years of age, without consent signature and telephone
number of parent or guardian on entry.
- Team names required for all teams, groups, and
floats.
- All single floaters must be 14 years or older.
All group, team and float participants must be 13
years or older, unless accompanied by one or more
parent.
- Individual entry form is required for each participant.
- ALL ENTRANTS MUST WEAR A COAST GUARD APPROVED
LIFE JACKET (VEST TYPE). Not wearing a life jacket
disqualifies entrant from prizes and may jeopardize
future tube floats.
- Floats must be supported by a base of innertubes.
- Entry wrist band must be worn on wrist, number
side out.
- Wristband required on wrist at finish for prizes.
- Floats must not have been towed, other than
for necessary patrol assistance, and must be floating
at check point. (Check point is at Arizona Shores
Resort.)
- All entries should try to stay 50’ from shoreline.
- Entries will be disqualified for:
- Using fins, paddles or any other type of
hand or foot gear.
- Use of any mechanical propellants.
- Disposing of or sinking any foreign materials
in the river.
- Dunking, upsetting or purposely deflating
tube of another.
- Requesting and receiving unnecessary tow
from patrol boat.
- Floats that are towed prior to check point,
except as necessary.
- NOT WEARING A LIFE JACKET.
- Using a non inflatable device.
- No transportation will be provided to or
from start or finish.
- All entries with the exception of floats, must
cross finish line by 2:00 p.m.. June 7, 2008 to
be eligible for prizes.
- All decisions of the judges shall be final.
- All floats must be removed from beach after
landing.
